Amy Alcott Signs With and Back Nine Greens

Back Nine GreensPALM DESERT, CA, 10th of December 2009 – AMY ALCOTT, a member of the World Golf and LPGA Hall of Fame has  partnered with Back Nine Greens, a designer and installer of custom backyard putting greens and water saving   synthetic green lawns throughout the United States, and will serve as the company’s Senior Design Consultant.   The parties have embarked on a progressive program to bring the game of golf to residents and communities that have not been considered as viable candidates and environments for the golf experience.
“Since the inception of Back Nine Greens in 1997 we have endeavored to become the premier developer and  designer of synthetic turf putting greens and landscapes. Taking that mission to the next level, our goal was to  align with one of the best golfers of our time and Amy Alcott was our first choice. Her Hall of Fame career and  strong creative gift for the game will enhance our business in the private and commercial sectors and we are very  excited to have Amy on our team. We have realized tremendous response thus far from our customers and there is every reason to believe Amy Alcott will be the 15th club in our bag,” said Dominic Nappi, Founder and President of Back Nine Greens.
“I am very pleased to be working with Dominic and his talented staff. We are like-minded in our aspirations  to work “green” in the world of golf and Back Nine Green’s first-class synthetic turf and attention to details and  creativity made my decision to join the company an easy one. Moreover, it presents me with new opportunities  to bring the game into residential backyards and commercial arenas for the general public for the first time. Golf can be enjoyed on numerous landscapes aside from an 18-hole golf course and that experience can also be affordable,” explained Alcott.
The company’s products and services will include an Amy Alcott Design Series, which will offer each client  one-on-one consultation with Alcott for their customized putting green and practice environments and a few putting and chipping tips will no doubt be part of the package upon the completion of each project.
